Canadian Festival Premiere of

AFTERMATH: THE REMNANTS OF WAR

at Planet in Focus International Environmental Film and Video Festival
on September 29, 5:30pm at Innis Town Hall, 2 Sussex Avenue, Toronto

Four years after its release and a successful international festival run, Aftermath: The Remnants of War, based on the Gelber Prize winning book by Donovan Webster, gets a Canadian festival premiere.

More relevant than ever, Aftermath: The Remnants of War is an unflinching look at the long term effects of 20th century war. Visiting France, Russia, Vietnam and Bosnia the film reveals the dark past that still haunts us and is a reminder that we will continue to pay for the last century’s legacy of war for years to come.

Aftermath: The Remnants of War is a multi-award winning documentary including UNESCO’s prize for best humanitarian film and special jury prize at FICA’s International Festival of Environmental Films & Videos, a Gold Medal at the New York Festivals Television Competition and Barcelona’s Documania’s Special Prize.
