Peter
Starrs career with the NFB began as a film editor in Montreal, working
with such notable directors as John Spotton, Colin Low, Donald Brittain
and Roman Kroitor. As a producer for the NFBs Ontario Centre, he
has been responsible for such critically acclaimed films as Dream Tower
(Gemini Nominee), the epic docu drama The Herd ( Genie Nominee Best Feature
Documentary), East Side Showdown ( Gemini Nominee/Donald Brittain Award),
Speakers for the Dead ( Best Documentary Award Reel Black Awards), Tango
in a Cold City, Dream Machine and Spirits of Havana (Genie Nominee For
Best Feature Documentary). He is presently co-producing Aftermath: The
Remnants of War, based on the Gelber Award-winning book by Donovan Webster.
