Louise
Lore
Louise Lore has been Executive Producer of the National Film Board's Ontario
Centre in Toronto since 1996. Prior to her taking that position, Lore
has worked for CBC television since 1969 in various positions, including
Producer for the highly rated Man Alive and Quarterly Report series. She
was Executive Producer of Religious Programmes from 1980 on. Lore is from
St. Catharines Ontario and has studied at the University of Western Ontario,
the Ontario College of Education and the University of Perugia in Italy.
In 1994, she was awarded the degree of Honourary Doctor of Letters from
St. Mary's University in Halifax for her achievements with Man Alive.
She has been Vice-President of the Association of Producers and Directors
(Toronto), a member of the advisory board of the NFB's New Initiatives
in Film Program and a Canadian Member of the Board for International INPUT.
