Ed Barreveld
Ed Barreveld has been intimately involved in the Canadian documentary
industry since immigrating from the Netherlands in 1980, primarily with
the National Film Board of Canada's Ontario Studio. Ed directed all
financial and business aspects of films produced and co-produced by
the NFB including such well-known titles as Project Grizzly, Thirty-two
Short Films about Glenn Gould, Rape: A Crime of War and Romeo and Juliet
in Sarajevo. Since leaving the studio in 1996 Ed has produced major
documentaries for the CBC, A&E, the BBC, PBS, TVAsahi and History
Television.
