This is the legacy of the bloodiest of centuries. The city that witnessed the opening shots of World War I reeled in blood and horror in the 90's as the lessons of the century were mocked by men with guns.

In Sarajevo ten-thousand people died in the longest seige in modern history. Now the siege has ended and Sarajevo revives and rebuilds -- three-hundred and fifty thousand people live here sharing the city with eighteen hundred minefields in neighbourhood streets, backyard gardens and parks.
