Storyline Entertainment is pleased to announce the broadcast premiere of

Age of Iron

on Bravo! Friday, May 16 at 7:30 pm ET
(complete broadcast schedule below)

Using stunning HD footage from the award-winning documentary Shipbreakers, Age of Iron is a four and half minute non-narrative visual treat about growing up in extraordinary circumstances in the world's ship breaking capital, the shanty town of Alang, India. It is also a dirge for the dying ships and a tribute to the men who risk life and limb to scratch out a meagre living.

Directed and edited by former Storyline Entertainment co-founder and partner Michael Kot, Age of Iron is driven by composer Ken Myhr's arrangement of Bouls, a traditional Indian song, performed by singing sensation Kiran Ahluwalia.  Featuring never seen before footage from the documentary Shipbreakers - which netted director of photography Derek Rogers a Gemini Award for best cinematography - it was produced by Ed Barreveld for Storyline Entertainment.

Produced by Storyline Entertainment with a Bravo!Fact grant, supported by Bravo! NewSyleArtsChannel, a division of CHUM Limited

Director/Editor Michael Kot, Producer Ed Barreveld, Director of Photography Derek Rogers, Arranger Ken Myhr, Vocals Kiran Ahluwalia, Supervising Sound/Design Daniel Pellerin, Sound Effects Editor/Design Brian Schwartz, Sound Design James Mark Stewart, Re-Recording Mixers Daniel Pellerin &Richard Spence-Thomas, Online Editor Pietro Gallo
