Experienced by millions, both soldiers and civilians, World War II was filmed from many angles at the time and has also been revisited by contemporary filmmakers.  The NFB website, titled “On All Fronts – World War II and the NFB”, allows viewers to discover and view a range of National Film Board films related to World War II.  The website also offers options for further exploration, with a useful selection of film excerpts, archival materials, interviews, articles, glossaries, and lesson plans for educators.
