Storyline Entertainment is a Toronto-based producer of documentaries and non-fiction programming for television. Established in the summer of 2000, Storyline Entertainment’s mandate is to create high-end productions with an international appeal, from one hours to feature-length projects, from one-off’s to series. Their first production, the feature-length documentary “Aftermath: The Remnants of War” is slated for broadcast June 3 on History Television in Canada. A slate of new projects are in development or pre-production, with pre-sale opportunities available.

The company is the creation of three Canadian filmmakers with extensive experience producing for domestic and international markets. Producer Ed Barreveld spent ten years with the National Film Board of Canada’s Toronto Studio before embarking on a independent career that has involved such broadcasters as A&E, the BBC, PBS and TVAsahi. Producer/director Michael Kot created ground-breaking programming for CBC Newsworld, The Discovery Channel and HistoryTelevision, including the documentary series “The Passionate Eye”, “Ideas on Camera” as well as numerous new media projects. Finally, director/producer Daniel Sekulich has been creating award-winning documentaries for over a decade, films that have been broadcast in Canada, the United States, Europe and Australasia.

Developing and producing films with a distinct point of view, international appeal and high production values, Storyline Entertainment brings new energy to the non-fiction marketplace. For more information about current and future projects, or to learn more about the company, please contact:
