Don Haig

Don is one of Canada's most experienced documentary producers. His career spans some forty-five years and more than five hundred films. Productions he has been involved in have been lauded at Cannes, received Academy Awards, Gemini Awards, Genie Awards and have been screened worldwide. He is the personal recipient of many awards including the Academy of Canadian Cinema and TV Air Canada Award, the CBC TV Producers Association Award, the City of Toronto Media Arts Award, the Ontario Film Institute Achievement Award and the Governor General's Performing Arts Award.

Don Haig passed away in February 2002. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Andre Bennett

For over two decades, Andre Bennett has worked with some of Canada's leading filmmakers, helping develop, finance, produce, distribute and market such works as Atom Egoyan's "Family Viewing" and "Speaking Parts", Patricia Rozema's "I've Heard the Mermaids Signing", Bruce MacDonald's "Highway 61" and Brigette Berman's Oscar winning documentary "Artie Shaw: Time is All You've Got". He has also been the Canadian theatrical distributor of such international films as Michael Apted's "28 Up", Andrei Tarkovsky's "Nostalghia", Margarethe von Trotta's "Marianne and Juliane", Richard Bugajski's "Interrogation", Jaffar Panahi's "The White Balloon" and Tony Gatlif's "Mondo".
